Lloyds Register works around the world to assess and certify ships, systems and facilities to improve quality and increase safety - a clear purpose shared by around 8,000 employees globally. We work closely with ship owners, operators and builders to provide innovative, value-added solutions that help improve business performance throughout the design, construction operation, and recycling of ships. Standards have to be applied consistently, and they have the confidence and experience to do this. Participation

Contribute to WP1 (specification requirements and samples), WP4 and 5 (field trials and demonstration), and WP7 (dissemination and exploitation). Input and advice are given to the consortium throughout the project regarding regulatory, shipbuilding inspection requirements and in-service inspection requirements.

Lloyds Register is one of the biggest shipping classification societies in the world, and it will provide invaluable expert advice for the the research team.
